The San Antonio chapter of the International Association of Business Communicators (IABC/SA) is pleased to announce the recipients of the 2010 Bronze Quill Awards. The winners were announced on May 20 at the annual Bronze Quill Awards Banquet held at The Witte Museum. The Bronze Quill Awards Banquet is designed to honor communications professionals who have demonstrated excellence in communicating effectively.
Like other IABC awards programs, the Bronze Quill Awards are divided into three categories which include Communications Management, Communication Skills and Communication Creative. The Bronze Quill Awards competition is open to all business communicators working in Greater San Antonio and South Texas. Entries are judged by seasoned IABC judges outside of South Texas who offer valuable feedback on work.

Tanji Patton also was awarded the prestigious 2010 “Executive Communicator of the Year” award. Patton, an Emmy award-winning journalist, has worked in the news media for 17 years. She was the original host and executive producer of the local lifestyle show San Antonio Living, and many of her investigative reports earned state and national attention. Patton served as the keynote speaker at the Bronze Quill Awards Banquet.
