SAN FRANCISCO, CA, June 26, 2013 – The International Association of Business Communicators (IABC) concluded their 2013 World Conference in New York City today. The conference, held in a different major international city each year, is IABC’s largest event of the year, attended by more than 1,400 members and non-members.
“As the outgoing chair, the conference provides a nice capstone on the year and serves as a great reminder as to the commitment and dedication members have to this organization,” said Kerby Meyers, former International Executive Board chair and interim executive director of IABC. “The passion and excitement among the members is what sustains the organization and what makes volunteering in a leadership position so rewarding.”
