For six months, members of IABC San Antonio have been planning, working and laying the foundation for the strategy of a new chapter web site. On January 15, the new site was launched with the help of IABC International CIO Chris Hall, and Preston Lewis, co-founder of Bonfire Communications based in San Francisco.
More than 20 communications professionals gathered at The Greater San Antonio Chamber’s resource center for the all day workshop which concluded with the launching of an entire new site for IABC San Antonio.
A new theme is established.
“Everyone in the room remarked that they took home tools they could apply at their jobs,” said IABC San Antonio chapter president Becky Bridges. “At least one member set up their own personal web site at the same time we were raising the new chapter site.”
Many thanks go to Sheri Rosen of Frost Bank and Susan Price of Firecat Studios who put in countless extra hours to plan the program, line up speakers for 4 months and help make the barnraising possible.
